I'm Danijela Duric, a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach in Burlington, Ontario. I became Burlington's most dedicated fitness coach by turning my battle and biggest weakness into my greatest strength. I'm passionate about coaching others to strive for more and change their lives despite what they've been told or the self-doubt they may carry because everyone deserves to feel strong and confident.
At seven years of age, I was diagnosed with patellofemoral syndrome and was prone to knee dislocation in both knees. My surgeon and physician demanded that playing sports was off the table. Walking also posed a threat of dislocations and further injury to the knee. After multiple dislocations on each knee and six knee surgeries, I still suffered from chronic knee pain. Per my surgeon's orders, I worked with physiotherapists to strengthen my leg muscles. My experimentations in the gym led to no relief from the chronic pain. It wasn't until I hired a trainer and learned to move efficiently and perform exercises with the correct form that I started to experience less pain, develop strength, and see physical changes in my appearance. Then, nutritional changes followed. I was on my way to becoming the best version of myself.
My certifications include the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Stretch to Win, and education in biomechanics from Miami's world-renowned fitness facility, DBC Fitness. I have trained with and observed some of the best trainers in the industry while spending time in Miami. My goal is to share the knowledge I have acquired in fitness and nutrition over time. It is something I will continue to build on through research and designations.
The National Academy of Sports Medicine is the most recognized and leading provider of fitness coaching certifications. NASM provides "world-class fitness and wellness professionals with the knowledge and tools to transform lives."
DBC Fitness is located in Miami, Florida and hosts experts in biomechanics, breathwork, strength and conditioning, and more. The owners, Donnie Raimond and David Alexander, developed a biomechanics and human movement course. Trainers need to know and understand this to coach others safely.
Precision Nutrition is the world's leading nutrition coaching program. With the PN approach I will coach clients to transform their health and physique for life by breaking down goals into skills, practices, and small daily actions.
Their unique fascial stretch therapy approach is taught worldwide by Chris and Ann Frederick through the Stretch to Win Institute. The founders are highly qualified in kinesiology, exercise science, and biomechanics. They've helped athletes at the Olympics, NFL, and NBA.

Hey, I’m Daniel Petermann, a certified personal trainer. Sports and fitness have always been a part of my life. My extensive football career and a decade of training experience have prepared me to know what it takes to help my clients achieve their goals. My commitment to my clients' success is derived from my own experience of perseverance and delayed gratification that paid off in my athletic endeavours. As a football player, I learned that no matter how big your goal is or how successful you might be, the effort you put in is the most important factor.
I have received several awards including OUA Rookie of the Year in 2014, McMaster Rookie Athlete of the Year, 3-time OUA All Star, and several others. It is because of these awards, teamwork, and years of personal development that I have played six years in the CFL. After winning a Grey Cup with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, I knew I wanted to coach individuals through a journey to their own “Grey Cup," and see their overwhelming joy after a tough grind. To succeed, my clients should adopt a team-player mindset while working with me, but they should own their personal development journey. With this commitment, we will transform your mental and physical well-being!
